This achievement is first time achieved by Indonesia in the event of The Cannes Corporate Media and TV Awards held by Filmservice International since 2010 after competing with participants from all over the world. Beginning with the initial production and sales in 1977, a video titled "Toyota Kijang, From Indonesia to the World" was produced as part of the celebration for the launch of The All New Kijang Innova which is the 6th generation of the legendary car Indonesia, Kijang. The storyline of the video is meant to represent the long history with the challenges and opportunities facing Indonesia in developing models of Toyota Kijang with global quality to meet the needs of both domestic and export markets.
Gradually, Toyota Indonesia are trying to increase local content and engage more local suppliers so that the model of Kijang can truly fulfill the commitments of Toyota Indonesia to always be able to contribute to the Indonesian automotive industry.
