10th TDCAC 2016: Indonesia Got One Silver Medal

Again, Indonesia won at the 10th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest that took place in Japan on August 24, 2016. After competing with 855.371 works from 81 countries, one of the representatives of Indonesia Dzaky Averil Sholauddin (from Boyolali, 6 years old) got the Silver Medal.

This award is given directly by Mitsuhisa Kato as the Executive Vice President and Member of Board of Toyota Motor Corporation. In his work, Dzaky described a future car with "Mushrooms Car Rescue" design. A Car with Mushroom-shaped that can savior forest fires and changes the smoky air into clean air.

Besides Dzaky, Indonesia also send the other finalist to Japan. She was Putti Serfiyani Kurnia (from Jember, 15 years old). Putti described a future car with "Car Busters Cancer” design, the micro-sized cars that can enter the human body through the circulatory channels and kill cancer cells.

Since Toyota Motor Corporation held this event in 2004, Indonesia always achieved a good achievement. In 4th TDCAC (2008), Indonesia won the Gold Award in the arena of World Contest TDCAC. In 5th TDCAC (2011), Indonesia won two numbers champions and earned Silver and Bronze Award. While on 6th TDCAC (2012), Indonesia won the Bronze Award.

Toyota Indonesia hopes this competition will always get a positive response and a huge interest from the Indonesia's public. There will be many children in Indonesia who participate, share ideas about the future dream car and build their awareness of the environment.
